Once again, our man Keith has really done his homework.  The openeing story on Countdown was about a major gaff that Sen McCain made during an interview with CBS news.  It seems that the old Senator is either lying or just terribly confused about history.

 If you ever want to see why this nation is totally screwed with the GOP at the helm, then look no further than this little gem from the AP.

 One week ago I watched in horror as the talking heads on TV went on and on about how important West Virginia was, what a swing state WV was going to be in November, and how great Hillary Clinton was for winning that critical state by such a large margin.  I finally could not stand it any longer and I wrote THIS.
    Now we are a week later and once again my fucking head is about to explode.  Now we have a new state to add to the most important battleground area in the nation for the fall: Kentucky.  I say bullshit!

  Let me begin by writing that I do not believe that having Hillary stay in this race until Barack Obama reaches 2025 does any damage to our party.  I agreed with Mike Huckabee that he should stay in the race until McBush secured enough delegates to put him over the top too.  There is nothing wrong with staying in the game until it is over.  Nothing!  After watching the talking heads tonight however, I am changing my mind.

   Breaking news just in from Philadelphia early this evening.  TV host Chris "Tweety" Matthews appears to have busted a nut on the Republican Presidential nominee John McCain.

     Earlier this morning on Meet The Press, Rep. Nina Lowey showed why I hate Hillary Clinton and her "style" of campaigning.  Timmy had Rep. Lowey and Sen. Bradley on to discuss the state of the Democratic race and the show opened with Rep. Lowey spewing on for three minutes in a diatribe that would make one wonder how the hell she ever got elected to the United States Congress.  Video Link HERE

  It is time for Hillary to give the public a reality check.  We have all looked at the math and seen every possible senerio for the delegate count to play out.  All the delegate calculators prove that Hillary needs to win the remaining primaries by at least a 65% to 35% margin to overtake Obama in the pledged delegate count.  Everyone agrees that Hillary will not win all of the remainign contests, and probably not win any by a 65 - 35 margin; yet some are still arguing that she will get within 100 pledged delegates and take the lead in the popular vote.  I do not believe that she can achieve that mathematically.

    At 7pm my local ABC station in Eastern NC came on the air with the Republican debate.  I have set my DVR to record and I watched in horror for two hours waiting for the real debate to begin.  Finally at 9:02 the first question was asked to Sen. Obama and then Sen. Edwards spoke a few minutes and then.......

   Whatever this administration says, the truth is usually the opposite.  From the Clear Skies Initiative, to the Healthy Forest Initiative, the drug bill that was supposed to be good for seniors, No Child Left Behind, CAFTA, our energy policy, revamping of the bankruptcy laws, school vouchers, faith based initiatives, trying to overhaul Social Security, etc. etc., their deception has been very well documented.

     All of these programs have one foundation in common: they all move or attempt to move public funds to private use.  This is the great scam that Republicans are perpetrating on our nation.  It's not that the GWB brand of Conservatives hate government, they hate the fact that government does not turn a profit. They could care less about the environment, about seniors, about education, or about our soldiers.  The bottom line is MONEY and how they can get their private hands on public funds.
