Impeachment or.... sunscreen, Rep. Lowey? (w/ poll!)

So my Congresscritter, Nita Lowey (D, NY-18), sends a constituent mass-email that makes me so mad I could scream. I'd tear my hair if I had any. I've typed up the text for a letter tomorrow; but in the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, I'd like to sleep through my passions before making a decision to put a stamp on it (maybe Darth Vader???).
Rev. Dr. King shows us the way on impeachment?

I read the Declaration of Independence aloud every Fourth; I try, with less success, to read Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Letter from Birmingham Jail at least once a year.
It's an amazing read; FWIW I think it one of the great tragedies that Dr. King's writings and other speeches are all but eclipsed by the trot-em-out-in-February clips of the "I Have a Dream" speech. I'm no King scholar, but one can see a universe even in this relatively short letter. What's that got to do with impeachment? Well, in the case of our well-intentioned but keep-the-powder-dry leadership in Washington... everything. Follow...
Our first woman President! w/poll

I can't be the only one thinking about the fact that a woman POTUS is a much more material possibility than ever before...
Read beyond the jump and tell me which of the three necessary steps is beyond the pale???
Best. Political. Manual. Ever.

To make the Democratic Party everything it can be, we need to win back as many of the "Bush Christians" as we can. Winning them back will be vastly easier with a good working knowledge of their codes, memes and frames. Clinton knows this. MLK knew this. Bush sure as hell knows it.
I firmly believe that the hero of the Gospels is Bush's true political nemesis.
Here's a suggestion that I hope you all take seriously: get out a good version of the Bible, like the NIV, and read the Gospels (the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) through a political frame. Jesus was one of the most effective political motivators of time. He led, he dodged bullets, he promoted social causes, he framed the debate, he turned his opponents back on themselves. I'm not proselytizing (at least not intentionally); I really think this is a useful thing to do, and it only takes a few hours to read on the top narrative level. Read on and I'll tell ya why.
